Under the hood is the legendary M117 5.5L V8 engine rated at 227 horsepower and 279 lb.-ft. of torque mated to a 4-speed overdrive automatic transmission. Factory equipment includes a limited-slip differential, independent suspension, 4-wheel power disc brakes, power steering, painted 15″ Gullideckel alloy wheels, fog lights, automatic climate control, cruise control, a Becker Grand Prix AM/FM/cassette stereo with a power antenna, an alarm system, and power windows and locks.
It was sold new at Coggin-O’Steen Motors in Fort Pierce, FL on 4/20/1988 and subsequently registered in Vero Beach, FL. It would remain with the original owner in Florida for 5 years when it was acquired by its second owner from Sherborn, MA on 8/20/1993 with approximately 19k miles. It would remain with the second owner in Massachusetts for nearly 11 years when it was acquired by a Pennsylvania based dealer in mid-2004 with approximately 28k miles. It was acquired by its third owner from Laceyville, PA on 12/20/2004 and would remain with this owner in Pennsylvania and Romulus, NY for 17 years when it was acquired by a Pennsylvania based dealer acquired in fall-2021 with a reported 35,724 miles.
